DISCLAIMER 2008 . . IMPORTANT . . PARENTS and or GUARDIANS OF JUNIORS PLEASE READ
As a result of changes within the Child Protection Act, the Yeovil & Dorchester Model Racing Car Club must ask the parents or guardians of junior entrants (under 16 years old), that they accept that Model Car Racing can be hazardous, especially whilst marshalling.
YDMRCC will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained whilst at a meeting, and any liability claim MUST be made directly to the BRCA.
If any parent or guardian is unable to accept this disclaimer, they must find a substitute marshal for the entrant, and inform the Race Director immediately. This marshal must be over 16 years old and hold a current BRCA Licence. If this cannot be arranged, the entrant will not be allowed to compete.
ALL BRCA licence holders (including under 16 year olds) are covered by the Sports Governing Body's comprehensive insurance policy.
